Good things to read.
Wicked by Gregory Maguire. I was very disappointed by the play, ONLY because I read the book first. The play is really, really cute-sy and I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I didn’t go into it thinking it was going to be a lot deeper than it was. The book was full of political undertones that weren’t even hinted at in the musical… Usually I say read the book before you see the play/show/movie, but in this case read it after.
